So you’re a worldly-wise traveller, but there are times whilst globetrotting that you crave the creature comforts of home. You like trendy places to stay but want taps you know how to turn on, and a bathroom that doesn’t look like something out of a Stanley Kubrick movie. When I’m out and about, I want to feel at home – simple as that. Barcelona’s chic, chaotic and full of action, yes, but right smack bang in the middle of it all is Blanc Guesthouse, where you’d expect to bump into the typical indie actor at the Sala Beckett or the vegan yoga teacher in town to detox. Kick off your shoes after a night on the tiles in Barcelona, take a shower and jump into a crisp, clean bed and wake up to fresh coffee on a sunny terrace and the aroma of lavender surrounding you – this is the life, this is even better than home sweet home.
